Here at This Is Our Town, we have decided to compile a complete and comprehensive guide to what’s on over the weekend in Thames Ditton and the surrounding area. There is a huge amount going on but we will pick the best and most enjoyable things for you to do.
First up, why not make the most of the sunshine and (rumoured) heatwave, and go to Hampton Court Palace and have a look around their gardens and the palace. For a small low cost £18 you get access to the palace, maze and gardens, plus a multi-language audio guide, costumed guided tours, children’s activity trails, entry to a living Tudor world, the Young Henry VIII exhibition and much more!
Looking slightly further afield why not visit the Elmbridge Fairtrade Network Stall in Walton. Take part in their Fairtrade tombola where every ticket wins a prize, plus take advantage of our free samples and leaflets about our campaign. It takes place on Sunday and runs between 11 and 3pm at Vauxmead in Burwood Road.
Once again looking slightly out of Thames Ditton, why not visit the Odeon this weekend. There are a number of great films appearing such as Hollywoods newest blockbuster in the shape of Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.
Finally, with Wimbledon just finished and summer seemingly arrived, why not take up one of the nations favourite sports and give tennis a go. There are a huge number of courts around Surrey and a number in Thames Ditton and the surrounding areas. There are courts ranging from a couple at the Civic Centre in Esher to Giggs Hill Field in Thames Ditton.
That concludes our weekend guide. If you would like anything included in this weeks or next please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.
